giant dipper

I shot my first wedding this weekend with my friend Kim. After almost 10 hours of shooting we practically ran to the Giant Dipper roller coaster and let out primal screams for several minutes of harrowing dips and turns. I was laughing so hard when we got off the ride I thought I was going to throw up.

oh! that was the first rollar coaster I ever rode. I was no more than 10 years old...and my very vivid memory is of sitting next to my "big" cousin Mark (who you may remember as David and Benjamin's Dad? but at this time he was in COLLEGE and that seemed mighty old and sophisticated!), while Eli, my brave little brother (then 6 or 7 years old) who had insisted on being the one of us who rode solo, shouted from behind "if I die on this, I'm going to sue you!" with no sense of irony whatsoever.
of course, after all our shrieking and screaming and Eli's threats of litigation, we then rode it over and over again...

Congrats on your 1st wedding photo shoot!! Wow!....10 hours of picture taking?? That's insane!, but I bet the photos are awesome. I hope you can share some, I'd love to see them.

can't believe you shot for ten hours! That is crazy! you definatly needed the big dipper. I can't wait to see some of the wedding pictures. I hope you get to share some of them with all of us. congrats on the new job.
