"If you see a whole thing - it seems that it's always beautiful. Planets, lives.... But close up a world's all dirt and rocks. And day to day, life's a hard job, you get tired, you lose the pattern." To entertain you: To inspire you: Comments
I totally envy those feet. I have cartoon feet with almond cookie toes! If I had feet like those I would wear sandals in January! Posted by: Annie at May 4, 2005 03:57 PMI love colorstrology! "Peach Bloom", it has a nice, earthy, sunny, spring type feel to it! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful site! This reminds me, I need to paint my toes!! Posted by: Heidi at May 3, 2005 04:42 PMIt's funny...I've been reading people's entries on how their colorstrology is dead-on. Mine is Chintz Rose. The entry is totally right, but the color is so blah. I love ORANGES, and GREENS, and BLUES, and REDS. I just looked down at the shirt I am wearing today, and what do you know, it's brown, cream, and...you guessed it...chintz rose. I really like this shirt. Maybe Chintz Rose isn't so bad after all. I am feeling much calmer today than yesterday. And I feel way cool in this shirt. It's got this 70s kind of flower and stripe pattern. Posted by: Kate at April 29, 2005 08:51 AMthank you for that beautiful quote. I love those words. right now, nothing could be more true for me. I get lost in the everyday of my life (dirt and rocks) and I am tired and I am missing out on the beauty. I just needed a little something to remind me to step away from it and see the beauty. Posted by: andrea at April 28, 2005 10:28 PMThanks sista :) for the feet and the link. I love that colorastrology too - mine is hanging on my board here - it was actually right on. Posted by: ali at April 28, 2005 09:57 PMLoved the Colorstrology. Ironic how true it was. I've always gotten odd looks for my bright orange Yoga mat, but according to this it's my meditation color :) It also said travel and adventure is in store for mine and my mother's birthday month. For my mother's birthday I've been planning to take her on a 5000 mile 17 day road trip through the south west and teach her to travel my way. I love it. Thanks for the smiles. Posted by: Pinto at April 28, 2005 05:24 PMI'll show you mine, since you showed me yours, mine are kinda dirty though: http://www.flickr.com/photos/smartbrother/6053721/in/set-181574/ I like the dirt....its how my feet usually are, since I'm barefoot or flipflopped 365! Posted by: joy madison at April 28, 2005 04:35 PMveeery beautiful ~ like alabaster... Posted by: mademoiselle a. at April 28, 2005 02:08 PMYes, they are pretty feet. Posted by: djn1 at April 28, 2005 01:41 PMa~ thank you for the great links. I loved the colorstrology. My personal color is oil blue. How beautiful and lucky for me! Huh corp gave me just the laugh I needed today. Thanks for sharing with us. jenn Posted by: jenn at April 28, 2005 11:30 AMThank you for the quote. That is exactly how I am feeling right now. Overwhelmed and worn-out. My boyfriend just found out he was accepted into grad school in NYC, which is amazing and wonderful and we WANT to go (we live in Austin, TX now). We are ready to have an adventure. But all those details - like finding a job (and not knowing what you want to do still), finding an apartment (and not knowing where to live and what to pay), and saving money, etc...are making me want to put my head on my desk. I am stuck in the dirt and the rocks today. Posted by: Kate at April 28, 2005 10:18 AMI recommend Ursula K. Le Guin to entertain and inspire. (Her novel, The Left Hand of Darkness, in particular.)
