Photo Friday: Nerdy

andrea_ape.jpg
My special ape face, Canon Digital Rebel

Photo Friday's theme this week is "Nerdy." This is my special ape face. Not to be confused with the grouper face, the scary-flat-face face, or the no lip face with the trucker accent.

So many nerdy pictures of myself to choose from.

It's the totally pastoral background that makes the image work. LOVE it.

Have you ever read Lucky Jim, by Kingsley Amis? It's a very funny book, and Jim goes through the whole thing making silent faces to himself, just like you are talking about here. Thanks for sharing your nerdy side.

I think that embracing your inner nerdiness is the greatest stress reliever of all time!!! My inner nerd sings as loudly and as off key as possible...

The glasses, the hair, the expression... are you an actress too? Sounds like you have enough pics to support a Nerdy Week here!

Love it.

...that reminds me of my old-lady-face...maybe I should practise it more often as grimacing is supposed to prevent wrinkles...it's like yoga for your face! ;-)
