little daisy

If you're in San Francisco, I will be presenting my photos at the Apple Store along with the Flickr peeps. Come see me!

A great photo essay called Why do you do what you do? made me sad to miss Burning Man again this year.

An incredible collection of photos by Edward Burtynsky is currently showing here in San Francisco. Be sure to click on "breaking ground tailings"

P.S. Do you get the impression this daisy is smiling for the camera?

Smiling and stretching and reaching up as high as it can go so you can have the prettiest picture possible. :)

I totally get the feeling the daisy is not only smiling but WINKING at us!

This picture is awesome (as are all of your pictures & thought provoking posts). I'm in NYC, but if I was in SF, I would absolutely go check out your show! Thanks for sharing your fantastic photos with the rest of the world!

I was able to catch Burtynsky's collection at the art gallery in Toronto. It was definitely worth the visit. I too would recommend checking his work out if you get a chance.

Andrea,

I saw a man in a tutu... was it your orange one?

Andrea,

My mother's favorite flower is the daisy...I am going to have to send this to her. It's so perfect. I too think it's smiling at the camera... I think it's showing off a little.
