"The world is not to be put in order, the world is order incarnate. It is for us to put ourselves in unison with this order." Comments
Interesting quote! Reminds me of what Badly Drawn Boy satirizes saying "Find a hand that fits the glove." I agree very (VERY VERY!!) much that we cannot build reality around ourselves, bt instead must seek truth and adapt accordingly. Love the quote! Posted by: Loony Lindsey at August 3, 2005 02:41 PMHAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY CHRIS HARRINGTON!!!!! Posted by: Spillett at August 3, 2005 01:58 PMSo many people spend their lives toiling to adjust (or simply blaming) the circumstances that surround them...It's not that I don't believe we can change the world...But, sometimes, it all starts with changing yourself. Love your photos! Posted by: Tommy Boy at August 3, 2005 09:26 AMAndrea, love this and all your stuff. Have been so inspired by you since I started reading you early this year. I even did a Mondo Beyondo list and it felt so great I am waiting to to one up for next year. Thank you for inspiring me and so many people. May you be blessed always. :) Posted by: Lucinda Guy at August 2, 2005 06:01 PMLove the quote - so true, so true... When I was lying on my bed, talking to a friend on the phone, it could occur that I was suddenly shouting:"Oh, a flying pig, a dinsosaur, a rubber ducky...!"
