Christine from Swirly has a fun project going on over at Flickr. Each month she'll ask people to take photos of pink things {every month a different theme} and give away a prize for her favorite image. This month is pink bicycles.

Another truly wonderful thing you should know about are the handmade wish containers over at Papeterie Delice. {I have one and treasure it} The sketchbooks are also quite delicious and everything is wonderfully affordable. I'm going to have to get tell her to raise her prices!

I'm amazed and blown away at all of your generous support of my bookbindery work! It's one thing when your (slightly biased) friends and family admire your work, and entirely another when it's people I haven't met yet. Thanks!

What an AMAZING photo! Also, Swirly's blog is one of my very favorites-I hope more people will discover her site today!

Do you do much photoshop work with your pictures, or are they usually straight from camera to computer? I really like the effects you get. :)

Two great tips - I already want one of the sketchbooks, they're lovely! Pretty dahlias too - I never really knew about them before so now whenever I recognise one I think of you. Cheesy perhaps but true :)

Gorgeous photo and great link BUT--she/they should raise her prices-- definitely.

What fun! I love photo projects...

Andrea, your dahlia photos have been stunning, and this one is particularly beautiful. We had them growing at the back of our house in Spain when I was a little girl, along with Cala Lilies, and they're not flowers you typically see here, so your photos add a touch of wonderful nostalgia to my day.

Love the wish container, too ... what a great idea!

Ohhhh...thanks for the link. I love those wish containers...I think I need to buy some and give them as gifts (and keep one for myself of course). And look at those awsome mini-books. Wow!

I just bought one of the wish books as a gift. Thanks for the link!
