Zero Circle Be helpless, dumbfounded We are too dull-eyed to see that beauty. So let us rather not be sure of anything, Comments
P.S. That is brilliant. Andrea, I've never posted but have been a faithful reader since being introduced to your site what seems forever ago by a friend we have in common. Maybe it seems silly, but this is where I come when the world is feeling heavy and mundane and I need to take a deep breath and see its beauty again. Thank you for that. You are truly an inspiration. Posted by: Amber at May 11, 2006 06:57 PMRandy--it's not pity. Does that tiny box really hold toothbrushes? My! Posted by: cathy at May 9, 2006 02:37 PMI think of you, dear Andrea, as one of those "miraculous beings." :-) Posted by: nina at May 9, 2006 02:22 PMYou might like a show on kqed called *SPARK*-- where they spotlight Bay Area artists. It's really neat. I TIVO it. They have a website, where you can see some of the media streams if you missed the show. Just hit "artist profiles". Like for instance Chris Cobb, the artist who did the installation at Adobe Books by rearranging all the books by color (you had a photo in Dec. 2004). http://www.kqed.org/arts/spark/ Posted by: cpr at May 9, 2006 10:21 AMp.S. i went to find the "candles" I had mentioned and they dont sell them anymore =( I read this (as well as passed out tiny copies) to my English 101 students. Posted by: Kate at May 8, 2006 07:37 PMSurrender brought me to your site, as it often does in moments of doubt, worry, and trouble. I am in the middle of a vaguely demoralizing job search and major life upheaval. What unexpected joy this brought me. Thank you for being so kind and eloquent to us, your readers. Posted by: Stephanie at May 8, 2006 01:56 PMoh, rumi: what would we do without you? Posted by: jolene at May 8, 2006 11:18 AMI adore Rumi's poetry. I was lucky enough to take a workshop with Shahram Shiva. (I think his site is Rumi.net) For half the workshop he read Rumi's poetry with the subtle beat of percussion from various world instruments in the background. The second half of the workshop he taught us whirling. He has worked with many people including Deepak Chopra....needless to say it was amazing. P.S. You've been tagged :) (http://waxing_poetic.blogspot.com) Posted by: Sarah Pezdek-Smith at May 8, 2006 10:52 AMWonderful thoughts. Thank you for inspiring my day. Keep it up, and as so many other people have said--we love you. Your view of life is truely an inspiration to us all. Posted by: Leigh at May 6, 2006 12:48 PMAndrea, I needed that like you wouldn't believe. I found out today that my very close friend's father died yesterday after a short struggle with cancer. I don't know what to do with myself because I am here in NYC and she is in Dallas. I am struggling with time and with money because both seem to be quite scarce. Her father was such a good, strong, wonderful man. These words reminded me that all I need to do right now is think of her and send my good thoughts and memories to her. Posted by: Kate at May 6, 2006 11:19 AMP.S. Everyone...please do not feed this troll lurking here. Just ignore and do what we do best and that is to love on beautiful Andrea (because it is so easy to do so).
