November 16, 2006hooray for treats!
My very talented and inspiring writing teacher named Laurie Wagner! There will be a fantastic trunk show of a collection of designers this weekend at Laurie's house in Alameda. It is the only show I will be doing this year, so come see me if you are local! ONE FABULOUS TRUNK SHOW-Sunday, November 19th in Alameda (6 fantastic designers) Comments
one of my best friends here in Little Rock is an indy designer. we have the best times at those shows, sashaying down the runway (sidewalk), swilling champagne, being superhero-supermodels. not once however, has anyone thought of a bonfire. ! sounds like a blast. wish i could pop by. power to the people arts. Posted by: kyran, notes to self at November 19, 2006 09:12 PMThat sounds so fun. I wish I could come! Posted by: colorsonmymind at November 19, 2006 06:47 PMOh how I wish I lived closer. This trunk show sounds amazing, and fun. I am in New Jersey and San Francisco seems so magical. My friend just moved there and I cannot wait to visit. Enjoy your show! I stopped at home quickly after work before heading to the training and grabbed a random spiral notebook since I'd forgotten to bring one from work. At the end of the training as I began gathering up my things, an envelope began to slip out of the back of the notebook. I saw this lovely handwriting on the back flap...and realized it was from YOU! It was my "What I did during the summer of 2005 that made me a better, smarter, happier person" letter...ha! I must have tucked it inside the notebook when you sent it back to me a year ago. Wow, I had some fun, sweet dreams...too bad I didn't do more of them...ha! Maybe I should tuck it somewhere new and wait for it to show up next year...it could be my Lazarus letter...resurrecting itself annually to remind me of my dreams. ;) xoxo Posted by: Marilyn at November 16, 2006 07:17 PMplease give Laurie a big So Cal hug from me! Posted by: deezee at November 16, 2006 04:56 PMthere i am jumping on my bed. That's really funny. I love how we took all these photos and I chose the ones where I look dark and serious and sexy, and you chose this one, where I look young and free and silly. Thank you for reminding me that I'm not who I think I am all the time. I can look at this photo and I can say, "who's that girl?" Posted by: LAURIE at November 16, 2006 03:55 PMDarn, wish I was closer. Hope the trunk show is successful and FUN! Posted by: jen b at November 16, 2006 03:00 PM |
