Not as beautiful as Ben of course, but stopped me in my tracks today. I've been taking micro-walks around the block with Ben in the sling. It's tough to get him to sleep anywhere but this fleecey little number against my body so I have taken to strolling around the neighborhood by day or dancing in my living room at ungodly hours of the night. It's the new post-partum workout! Dance instead of sleep!

Oh, I remember those days ... when I felt like we "swayed" nonstop - ultimately we swayed so much we swayed even when we were not the ones holding a baby out of habit. What beautiful photos. I was out here just to nab your URL to mention in my show (Creative Mom Podcast) because I was gifted with awesome Tropical pieces, and I got sidelined here. The baby is so beautiful. Congratulations!

Beautiful flowers! We had the same sling, after trying 2 others I fell in love with it and we used it so much we basically wore it out by 18 months or so! BEST purchase ever.

Another stunning photo set from our Superhero. So beautiful, thank you for posting them. And the family portrait above is about the most wonderful thing possible.

Whoever came up with the sling idea was a f*&^%$) genius...I see women using them all the time, and I think they're great. Babies always look some warm and cozy in them...

Pink in blue the new dance steps!
Those tender night time moments...are sweeter as the years go by...
The FIRST time my son sleep through the night he was five years old! I knew many dance steps!

We have that same sling from Kangaroo Korner. My 4 month old has spent quite a lot of time in her sling. I think it has been the best purchase I think I have ever made! It is perfect for San Francisco temperatures! Enjoy your walks with Ben! :o)

Oh, how pretty! It looks like springtime and winter is just getting started here. *sigh*

If I were in California, I would babysit so you could get some sleep. I remember those days!

memories flooding back. I can remember one sleepless night when my husband took him so I could sleep. I could hear him walking around downstairs in our 1912 home that had been in his family for 40 years. He was walking from room to room, swaying, telling our son all his childhood memories about each room in a soft loving voice. I should have been sleeping, but I just sat on the stairs and watched my husband being a father. Thanks.

Ahhh, the memories of babies that don't sleep. If you think about it, they begin their little routine in the womb. When was he awake and moving? When you were still. When was he still and sleeping? When you were moving around of course.

I'm all for dancing and walks of discovery...I predict many splendid and snuggly family naps in your future!

oh that is delightful... just all of it really :)

that fuzzle bunny wrap is divine... i wonder if they make human sized ones? i wonder if my love loves me enough to carry me around when i'm tired from bushwalking ;)

Isn't insane what you'll do to get them to sleep?! Lol. Hang in there girl...in six months hopefully it will seem like a bad dream (the lack of sleep, not beautiful Ben of course). You'll think, "How did I get through that?" I can't answer it...you just do, as you are with your walks. Love that sling. I had a couple, all of which sucked. Wish I'd seen this one!
