Your son's face is remarkably expressive! He just reads like such a wonderful little guy. Oh, and the world is so new and miraculous--what I wouldn't give to experience that with the knowledge that it is such a truly good thing.

Isn't it wonderful to see what happens when good genes combine! You'll have to share some mommy stories when your life slows back down a bit.

Hard to believe that it has already been a month. He is adorable.

In my group of close friends, whenever we think something is cute, we say we want to hurt it (example: "I just wanna spank her until she cries!" Weird, yes, but really, truly meant with love). So it's official: I just wanna bite his little face. He is sooooo cute!

I love it...Ben is just so very cute...I'm laughing at the faces...he looks like daddy...no?

Holy hair cuteness!!! He has the most beautiful brown hair! Neither of my little guys had much hair when they were born let alone that gorgeous chocolate color. And all his little faces are so precious!

I swear he must be pooing or farting in these photos! How much do you love the expression they get right before a pooh, such concentration! and that sound my gosh, we co slept with our bub and his farts would wake us up at night.

Ben is astoundingly handsome. and hey, if your feeling even slightly sane at one month, your're doing REALLY well, i'm still not there eighteen months later; but loving the insane journey.

Oh..these make my heart so very happy! Ben is beautiful. I know it's a crazy time, but soak up every minute. They grow up too fast!

What a sweet baby boy. My favorite is the second picture! I busted out laughing when I saw it, so very cute! Ben reminds me of my baby brother when he was an born. I was four at the time. I fell in love with him the day he came home from the hospital and when I look at your pictures of Ben my heart fills up with those wonderful memories of him as a baby because they look so much alike as babies. Now, he's 32, so not quite the same as before. :D

oy! all these (and past) pictures are taking me back to 5 years ago when i had my first. the faces, the sounds, the smell, the touchs...it was all so great. and it gets better if you can believe it!

I remember, a million years ago when my daughter was young, I was introduced to the idea of 'lactation dementia' (childbirth is the only pre-requisite for this condition) and it has you putting the iron in the fridge and forgetting the name of something simple. I used it shamelessly for years (... a gift from the sisterhood lol).

If we could all achieve the bliss that the first photo reflects. (I think I hover between #2 and #4 far too often!)

We used to make them 'speak' when they were making those faces...
I would slip my finger onto their tiny chins so their mouths would move and we'd make them say silly things...

I squee each time I see him!
