I just happened to land on your site because I was looking up Elizabeth Gilbert ( of EAT, PRAY, LOVE) and somehow the google search took me to a photo of you and two other women doing the Charlie's ANgel pose. THat got me reading your journal. and that's how it happened : total surrendipidy.
My name is Amy Lawday. I am a film maker with my own documentary production company ( www.amylawdayproductions.com) . I am also a 36 year old woman who is trying to get pregnant and making a film about the process.
From the little snippets I read of your journal over the last few years, I see that you have a very real, human and amusing way of describing what you (we) go through.
I have been keeping a video diary log of my experience and the aim is to incorporate the footage into a wider documentary film about the changing face of fertility in America. i have already conducted several expert interviews with doctors and specialists and I would very much like to interview you.
Please let me know if you would be interested in meeting with me and doing an on-camera interview. Just as an aside, the camera is extremely unobtrusive and no scary lights and boom mikes. This would be more like an informal chat, captured on video.
