Your photo title reminds me of hearing John Lennon's Beautiful Boy this week on the radio. At the time it made me smile, thinking of my own 18-year-old beautiful boy. This photo and caption made the song run through my mind again; I'm smiling because your boy IS beautiful, too!

As the years go by, you will be so grateful you took all these pictures, keep taking them at every stage and age. Our beauty boy Chase is almost 7 now, and when his baby pics come on the screen saver I revel in the tiny mouth, perfect peachy skin and big eyes. (sigh)
I was reading Anne Lamott's book "Plan B" where she describes her son Sam as being a "swirl of all the ages he's ever been," and since reading that I find that it is true. I can still see the face of a tiny newborn every once in a while in my boy's face. What an amazing journey to witness....
I have to join the masses in a Ben Love Fest.
The lines of his features are so wonderful. And his skin is beautiful. And that little perfect mouth. I imagine two years from now you will be posting pictures of the little guy digging in the dirt, smears of life and fun on his clothes, and those will be just as adorable.

Yes, Andrea...he is so so beautiful. Your breath must catch when you look at him. He looks so content. What is he looking at in that picture? Your know from that look in his eyes I think he was waiting for you and your husband as much as you were waiting for him.
