Thank you for sharing this with us. Posted by: Jennifer at June 22, 2007 08:46 PMThat is one of my most favorite poems. I recommend finding a recording of Walcott reading it -- his voice is amazing. My focus of today has been to return to my self, moment by moment and reading this brought a beautiful grounding. Much gratitude. Posted by: Vivienne at June 22, 2007 05:26 PMI love Roger Housden's book "Ten Poem To Change Your Live". The first poem in it that I read was, The Journey" by Mary Oliver, it took my breath away. He also has another book "Ten Poems To Open Your Heart". Just as beautiful, if not more. BTW, beautiful pictures of your son Ben.
