Indeed they are.

So easily said and understood, sometimes SO difficult to remember as you're living those moments. I repeatedly find myself mentally four chores/projects/days ahead of myself... Yoga helps, and reminders like this. But it's a CONSTANT struggle!

Hey Lady!

I bestowed a blog award upon you (maybe you're too cool for these kinds of things, but you really deserve this one!) -- stop on by to pick it up!

beautiful quote. and this looks like an anna kuperberg shot. so good.

Posted by: maile at September 6, 2007 05:34 AM

The quotation is poignant and beautiful, so are the photos of your little boy.

I think we need more simplicity in our lives. I've been incredibly stressed lately, and passages like this are great for making you pause and invite some calm into your life- thanks!

Thanks for this great quotation. I've been reading some essays by Stevenson this week & just had to mention that I loved seeing that here. And how apropos with the photo!

He looks so serious and contemplative! He is a deep thinker, your Ben.

And yes, the smallest things, smallest moments can bring the greatest joy.
