"No thing is beautiful. But all things await the sensitive and imaginative mind that may be aroused to pleasurable emotion at sight of them. This is beauty." Robert Henri, from The Art Spirit (published in 1923)

How is it possible your BEAUTIFUL BEN IS ONE!!!

You have probaly heard this already, but something hapens around 40 with the time space continuem and life seems to pass faster. Give him a big warm desert hugxoxox

His eating- if he has not had the blood test for celiac disease-be sure to get it done-3 years ago the AMA suddenly realized it was not uncommen in AMericans and was indeed at the root of many unexplained ailments-difficulty maintaining or gaining weight( in all age groups) being one of them.
Other then that-DONT BY ANY OF THE CRAP-these over anxious -pharmaceutically brainwashed medical folks try feeding you.
Trust your mothers intuition and MR Ben will be just fine!
In many ways I think mothering was better and far more enjoyable before the medical field became the truth of information Gustapo.
Much Love and warmth to all of you from the Joshua Tree Desert.

I looked at this photo quickly, and you know what I thought it was? Sneakers that someone had thrown over the lines. Then my eyes adjusted and I saw it was the chairlift. Great photo! I love the poofy clouds.

Happy belated Birthday Ben, and thank you Andrea for sharing your precious letters to Ben. And if you think they're adorable in the first year, the second year they completely outdo themselves.
