There are moments in our lives, there are moments in a day, when we seem to see beyond the usual. Such are the moments of our greatest happiness. Such are the moments of our greatest wisdom. If one could but recall his vision by some sort of sign. It was in this hope that the arts were invented. Sign-posts on the way to what may be. Sign-posts toward greater knowledge. -Robert Henri, from The Art Spirit (published in 1923)

Hi Andrea, I have been following your blog for quite some time now and I even link to it on my blog...I must say I love reading it and I love your beautiful jewelry.

I am an art therapist working in California and on Thursday, I was co-facilitating a group that was working on a collage. I was looking through a magazine and I came across an article titled "Five favorite art fairs". I noticed a picture of a woman holding a necklace and when I read the caption, it was you! The magazine was Sunset and it was the December 2005 issue. The article listed the Feria Urbana show in San Fran. Finding this article really made my morning! You are very inspiring to me and I just wanted to say thank you!

Thanks for sharing that. My favorite (paraphrased) Henri quote is: It is not making art that is important, rather living a life that makes art inevitable.

Its nice to be reminded of what is important.

May your family be blanketed in Peace, Andrea.
