May 30, 2008mojitos for everyone
I just returned from an incredible trip to Puerto Rico where three of us shot a most amazing and lavish Bat Mitzvah. So many times I wanted to throw my camera down and dance merengue until 4am like the guests! (They even had legendary grammy winning pop stars performing there) When I returned, I had this wonderful poem in my inbox from Maya Stein. It somehow seemed fitting: At the writing retreat, I know we’re going deep, I want to put down our wounds, our self-flagellating chatter, Comments
megan, Sounds divine! What an adorable picture of you! So glad you had a nice time and made it back safely. :) Posted by: Lisa at May 31, 2008 05:20 AMYou are so cute! This is really a beautiful picture of you and around you! Wow, a Bat Mitzvah in PR!? Mine was in a quiet temple, in a suburb, in Western NY, and we were not allowed to take pictures:( I can barely remember it. Those pictures you took are going to make that family happy every time they see them forever. COOL:) Might I also add that you have helped me make a decision to purchase *the fit flop*! You make them look really cool. I have tried them on and they are surprisingly light and comfy. Do you think they work? I'm a sucker for stuff like that;)-L Posted by: Leia at May 30, 2008 11:38 PMGorgeous you! And I love the quote too ~ fantastic poem!! perfect! glad you had a great time. much love to you!! By the way, you look great in the photo - so vibrant. Posted by: O at May 30, 2008 01:38 PMsounds divine! :) love 1 - Love Puerto Rico; rented an apartment there for 3 weeks after a bad breakup.
