I find, when I look at my ability to allow what will be to be, I often clench with fear. Fear of what may happen.. and the worst isn't even that it will be terrible, but that it will mean I am terrible in some way. To be terrible in some way means I may not be loved. “Allow” is such a powerful word, in that it invites the ego to step into the background so that what needs to manifest can do so. I feel that one of my biggest stumbling blocks is fear, which is its opposite. To allow is to release the need to control, or even to know what will happen. To allow with love is to live in true freedom.
