what a wonderful picture - it's so great when you get that one shot that's so perfect! Posted by Jules at October 21, 2008 04:29 PMGet well soon Andrea! Good luck with both the floating and the landing :) Posted by Anna Wyndham at October 21, 2008 01:10 AMGreat shot! And I love the name Ezra! Love, love, love it. Have a great day, Andrea! Posted by Katherine at October 20, 2008 10:10 PMGasp! You are really sick...I am so sorry. What a trouper you are...may the doctor prescribe you more than honey for the cough. Remember...you always have a soft, urine scented mattress to land one here in santa cruz :) Loves ya! Being sick for more then two days by the way is really shitty for the ol' psyche... Posted by busymomma66 at October 20, 2008 05:06 PMSending loving and healing thoughts your way! Posted by busymomma66 at October 20, 2008 05:06 PMyou are so honest... just close your eyes...and fall...the soft place will be there...trust...open up...but first...get in bed and rest! thinking of you xx Posted by linni at October 20, 2008 01:23 PMI know this untethered feeling you speak of - wrote about it in my journal today, too. I want so badly to know the purpose in it, to figure out where I'm headed, so I can begin active movement in the "right" direction... :) And even as I typed that, I had to laugh at myself. Why this need to know all the time? Why this willfulness, this assumption that the quickest route between points A and B is the best one? The universe has always been good to me; why not just trust it for an afternoon? So, perhaps, rather than wishing us un-lost, I'll wish us like colorful balloons bobbing against a blue sky - the kind that have messages tied to them, because they're meant for more than just sailing about. And that soft place to land? Of course, it'll be a green field by a farmhouse or a spot by the water where kids like to play.... The air currents will take us to just the right time and place, and we'll know what to do next. Thinking of you and hoping you feel better soon! Posted by Sarah at October 20, 2008 01:01 PMhope you feel better and your fall lands nice and soft on a pillow that was strategically placed on the floor just to catch you. that is what we do next to the couches in our house. sending healing vibes. and hugs to ben. Posted by mamie at October 20, 2008 12:36 PMfeel better and treat yourself gently. i'm trying to be present in the transitional chaos that fall represents. change of weather, shifting wardrobes, and runny noses. Posted by stephanie at October 20, 2008 11:06 AMSending you healing thoughts. Posted by Kristina at October 20, 2008 10:07 AMso sorry to hear that you're sick! i've been feeling quite lost, too. when you find that soft place to land, i would love to hear about it! wishing you happy, healthy days... Posted by emily at October 20, 2008 09:26 AMGreat photo. I am glad Ben was okay. I am so inspired by you and Karen at Chookoloonks to keep my camera handy, on, and ready to click. Please keep clicking that camera and sharing your gems with us. You are right; life is bumpy, and we fall. Life is contagious, and we get sick. We get lost and untethered. And then we get back up, wipe off the dust bunnies, blow our runny noses, find our way back home, and tie a tighter knot to our loved ones, to our own internal anchors, and remind ourselves of "what our heart already knows" as the delightful Jen Lemen wrote not long ago. I hope you feel better very soon. I'm gonna wear a Superhero necklace for you today - to send my wishes for health and rest out your way, dear Andrea. Posted by GailNHB at October 20, 2008 09:06 AM |
