Comments: Best of 2009 Blog Challenge: Best Restaurant moment
This rang so true that I went and bought a new wallet - one by Orla Kiely as well (terribly hard to get in Germany, thank you eBay!) Wishing you all the best, love, Britta Posted by Britta at December 6, 2009 12:27 PMHey are you a professional journalist? This article is very well written, as compared to most other blogs i saw today…. OMG. I fell in love with a wallet at the Powell's store in the Portland airport and I just couldn't part with the cash it was SO WORTH. I've been mourning it ever since. No wallets on Powells.com. Maybe I should find the number of the airport Powells and see if it's still there - and if they will send it to me. My wallet isn't a poverty wallet - it's an emotionless, basic wallet. Serviceable, which was why I didn't part with $ for the new one - even though I was spending gobs of $ on everyone else before we left. Sigh. Posted by pixiemama at December 5, 2009 09:05 AMokay, I am putting new wallet on my Christmas wish list! Mine is threadbaring w/a hole (change falls out of it and is scattered on the bottom of my purse), teeny-tiny, and really way more like a change purse than a wallet. Actually I think it was intended to be a change holder! It has poverty wallet alert written all over it...how sad!! It is time. :) Thanks for this little nudge!! :) Posted by Mariella at December 4, 2009 09:33 AMLost my wallet last month for the first time in memory. Earlier on the same day I took my first math tutoring lesson to conquer my fear of numbers. If that ain't synchronicity, I don't know what is. Time to step up to the plate and find an Abundance Wallet. Thank you for the inspiration, Andrea Scher. Posted by Gwen Bell at December 3, 2009 10:24 PMThis is hilarious! - and definitely food for thought. I've been grieving over it, not because I have to replace everything and lost a chunk of cash, but because I KNOW it means something.-- I've been decluttering my house since and have yet to buy a new wallet. Now I have the incentive! I'll be sure to buy one that I really love. Thanks!
